The Copper Pig Bbq House was established to bring fantastic food, unique beverages and a social atmosphere to historic George Street. This entire venture is about being a part of the downtown kin and the larger family of greater Prince George.
We spend a significant amount of effort supporting other businesses downtown for our kitchen equipment, lighting, menu design, linens and office supplies. And we purchase ingredients locally from the Farmer’s Markets, Northern Bioponics, Home Sweet Home, North Roast Coffee and Pacific Western Brewing to name a few.
We also give back by working with Tourism PG, the theatres, and the arts. And may we add the work TCP’s Piggy Bank Foundation
and the environmental work we do. In our short existence to date, we have also helped magnify the incredible food industry downtown has to offer.
And now TCP is taking our ‘BC Only’ program to the next level by introducing our “Farm-to-Fork” feature. We have started working directly with the farmers & merchants of greater Prince George to design fun and fresh meals to excite you and our culinary team.
This program lets us source any ingredient from any supplier we wish. Whether it is lunch or dinner, our culinary team will create exciting delights of local meats or fish & fresh vegetables from our region. These forever changing dishes will highlight farms from the area and their 100% fresh local ingredients – bringing the farm straight to your fork.

The Copper Pig Bbq House is serious about barbeque. Our signature bbq sauces are truly unique and are made from scratch every day. We craft our own dry-rubs & each cut of beef or pork experiences a 24hr marinade and is smoked over a low & slow cooking process. We smoke our own bacon and cure our delicious Montreal style brisket over a 10 day process. Everything is done here in-house. You just cannot get food like this anywhere else.
